BC Lietkabelis signs Ben Madgen

BC Lietkabelis, Panevezys has signed 31 years old guard from Australia Ben Madgen.

Aussie who can play as a shooting guard or small forward arrives from Belgium where he was the leading scorer of the league.

“Foreign players are very important part of our team selection process. Coaches wanted a shooting guard who would be a scorer and we are glad that we found one. Ben played very solid in Australia and even better in his rookie year in Belgium. Our next goal is to find a pointguard”,- General Manager of BC Lietkabelis, Panevezys, Mantas Ignatavicius said.

Last season Ben played in Belgium where in 32 min. he averaged 19.6 pts. 4.4 reb. 1.4 ast. 1.1 stl. and 15.9 eff.
